ANDREW PETERS,
PHYSICAL THERAPIST
CO-FOUNDER & DIRECTOR OF THERAPY ON WHEELS

Andrew is the driving force behind Therapy On Wheels and passionately serves as Co-founder and Director.

It was while he was living and traveling abroad through South East Asia, Asia and Southern Africa that he developed a compassion for undeveloped communities.

It was this passion for communities of countries that are unable to support themselves that birthed the desire to see a tangible change happen in the lives of those that need it most.


MICHEALA DU TOIT,
PHYSICAL THERAPIST
CO-FOUNDER & OPERATIONAL MANAGER OF THERAPY ON WHEELS

Micheala is a passionate Physical Therapist out of Johannesburg, South Africa. Aside from being the Co-Founder & Operational Manager of Therapy On Wheels, she has also received specialty training in orthopedic therapy, cardiac rehabilitation, neurorehabilitation and special needs care.

As TOW’s Operational Manager, Micheala’s role involves being in charge of all TOW initiatives, while working closely with the TOW Team and partners to ensure and advance impact not only sustainably within South Africa, but with the mindset of working towards TOW’s overall vision of impacting further communities and countries internationally.


CHARIZE PETERS,
MASTERS IN MARKETING
HEAD OF MARKETING & PUBLIC RELATIONS

Charize is Therapy On Wheels out-of-the-box marketing mastermind who brings creativity to the team. Living abroad for the majority of her life has shaped her mindset with a keen sense of culture from each country that she has visited and lived in.

Her background in Entrepreneurship and Marketing Management has allowed her to work closely with major brands such as Dis-Chem to develop strategic marketing plans and product development strategies in South African and Namibian branches. 

Charize will work closely with TOW sponsors and ensure transparent and coherent communication, as well as develop marketing strategies to provide the TOW community with up-to-date information about upcoming events and how to be a part of the growing team.


ARHLENE ENGELBRECHT,
EVENT COORDINATOR
DIRECTOR OF EVENTS

Arhlene’s career in event planning began more than 30 years ago, she has always been intrigued by events and the various aspects that go into organizing them – from the colour schemes and designs, to the music and entertainment, to maintaining an orderly timeline. 

She launched her career in marketing promotions and events manager at Avis in 2000, where she coordinated all in house events as well as title sponsor and co-sponsor events such as The Nedbank Golf Challenge, The Avis Derby and The Presidents Cup, just to name a few.

By 2010 Arhlene was freelancing as an Event Manager in many different markets. In 2021 she has embraced the opportunity to work on a team of amazing, talented individuals.


RONELLE PETERS,
REGISTERED NURSE & MASSAGE SPECIALIST
HEALTHCARE CONSULTANT

Ronelle is a dedicated and compassionate registered Nurse with over 30 years of hands-on experience in the healthcare profession specialising in neonatal and paediatric care.

Ronelle’s abilities stretch far beyond that of only working in a hospital setting. As a Global Ambassador for massage touch therapy, Ronelle has taught programs across the globe in orphanages, hospitals and children’s homes. 

She strives to not only teach love, compassion and kindness to all those in her care, but also educating caregivers about sustainable practices to ensure children receive a nurturing touch long after she is gone.
